They call themselves "the 99%", but I don't recall asking or authorizing a bunch of protestors to represent my interests >.>

Better them than the 1%... at least the 99% might help you rather than hurt you.

this is just for the sake of argument, but...

why do you assume you have the right to reserve representation of your own interests? politicians are getting elected to represent you all the time, and i'm pretty sure you haven't voted for all of them...
