Hey!

So much for regularly updating... I got into this habit of starting an entry, not finishing it, saving it to finish later... and then never actually posting it. So here's a sort of bullet-point brain dump:

If you pick up your tent this weekend, Canadian Tire's giving $20 gift cards to anyone who buys a tent worth $49.99 or more.

I'd actually bought our new tent the day before I got the email flyer about the $20 gift cards. :P But it's okay because that was the last day my tent was on sale, and I got it for $100 off, so on the whole I still came out ahead. ;) We got this big boy for $99. Front becomes a netted hang-out area, back stays the sleeping area, and there'll be more than enough space for two adults, two Spawnlings, and a pug. Which tent did you go for?

Yeah, saw that model and liked it - that's a good deal, and worth it that you got it early. They had a lot of tents on pretty serious sale, but all of those that fit what I wanted were sold out by the time I got there. :( So I paid full price for this ( ... )
