That stereotype is pulled from typical "Leo" horoscopes. :) So is the "ego" one.

One could also say that male lions are the biggest pimps in the animal kingdom.

But my lioness would kill me if I told her that one.

Pimps? You think so? Male lions don't much care to share, at least not outside the pride. So, it's free for friends, but you can't buy it, and you might die trying. :)

well me "character" or "fursona" is ME (i know some furries create a whole new personality for themselves...but i'm not that interesting :< )
but i would imagine lions are BOLD and i guess extroverts.

Well, and that's interesting too - I originally chose lion because it partly suited who I was. The parts that didn't match were the parts I wanted to change so that I would be more like I thought a lion should be ( ... )

that stuff is cool. basically like anthropology...or ANTHROpology hahaha im so funny :P

well i think for some people it for sure is an escape. this is going to sound really rude and shallow (and i obviously don't mean it to), but have you ever seen an unattractive furry persona? or a weak one? or any other various human "flaw" (unless its what they're "into"
with what you were saying about some one seeing their personality traits and choosing appropriately also can change depending on their culture so you could see a very outgoing person who's fursona, from a western standpoint would be considered very meek and humble.
also when choosing according to traits there could be some scholasticism where people sort of..force their traits to match those of an animal they like.
its strange though, the feral before this years i sort of went in the middle of a furry identity crises and people i just met were like "no way, your totally a cat" after talking to me a bit. i guess sometimes it just clicks.
wow that's some ramblin' if i ever did see!

I've seen ones that are unattractive to me... but I think it would be rare for someone to choose an avatar which is unattractive to them, unless it was purposeful for some reason or another - like they want to plasy a character sorta like "The Beast" in "Beauty and the Beast" - ugly on the outside, but he is kind and charming and "Beauty" sees though that.

You seem cat-like to me - but it's really up to you, man! It's got to make you happy, first and foremost. :)

All I know is what I know about myself.

1. Lazy? Not too much, but I do enjoy me-time.
2. Some. Just because I don't allow Bucktown to call me out doesn't mean it ain't there.
3. I try and want to be. I am, of the band and RCFM. Work? Not so much.
4. 100% true, relatively speaking.
5. Not to brag, but that is 100% false (again, for me).
6. Gotta have young to eat young...
7. Could be true, in theory.
8. I am.
9. Oh, I WANT it, but I am gracious enough not to take it all the time. I am image-conscious.
10. I'd like to think so.
