Holy fuck I'm tired.

Happy to help with that... you have 4 or 5 months yet until downhill winter sports are upon us, at least in this province.

And this is not my TMI journal, so all you helped with was video manipulation... not other manipulation. ;)

Very hot lion suit!!! Tried to download one of your videos and it froze on me... Oh well, I'll try again later. How did you manage to rotate a video?? I have several that I took with my digital camera and I am tired of turning my laptop sideways to view them! :(

*smiles* It was rather hot, even in -10°C weather. And thanks... *eartips blush*

I tried downloading and/or streaming the videos here at work and I can't - either they have the wrong codecs or their security is too high or something. I'll try it again at home and see if I can get the videos off the site and view them. Right now they are using the DivX codec, so if you don't have that you'll need it...

Tora had me download a program called "Virtual Dub" for video manipulation. It's a little... non-intuitive, but it works. For example, you open your "sideways" video, go to "Video" --> "Filters" and then add the "Rotate" filter, hit OK, and then select the amount of rotation and OK again.

It would have taken me ages to figure that out on my own!

It was HILARIOUS fun! I can't wait to go again... hopefully with some other people in suit (nudge tora and torrle)!

Visibility is exactly the same as I'd have wearing those goggles wearing a normal skiing outfit. Once in a while one fo the "mane dreadlocks" would get blown in front of it, but no worse than one's hair or a scarf would do.

It was pretty warm... which is better than being cold. :) Part of the idea for a snowboarding lion suit came from thinking that wearing a fursuit is no fun in the summer when it's already so freakin' hot. ;) Part of me wanted to make a polar bear suit wearing swim trunks!
