Hi hi hi hi!

Feb 15, 2012 20:52

Yet again, I'm trying to get the hang of posting more often. I have less friends in RL and online than ever before and this makes me sad. Moving on to other things! This will soon be my happy place again! I have decreed it and I will make it so.

Today's topic will be about - MOVIES. YAY.

Vague & shallow spoilers for old and one new movie.

Upcoming movies (John Carter and Battleship): )

personal, random

Sadly, The Eagle is the only one of those movies I have seen...however the pics here are very very nice, and I totally think Riggens in space makes sense

Channing Tatum's body deserved an Oscar for that one. I have a crush. Hi!

Glad you saw the Eagle - fab movie, and hte slashiest thing I have ever seen (it made me write slash, so you can imagine). And CT is adorable, and winsome enough that he can coast over his minimal acting skills. He has presence, if nothing else ;) (also, guns. and abs.)

I might have to go and see John Carter with the kids (such a good excuse to go and drool over two hours of shirtless Riggins, gah!), and Battleship - well, Skarsgard, Riggins and Landry? It has to be done...

Nice to see we still share a taste in eyecandy, doll!

So. Much. Eyefucking. I am totally crushing hard on CT lately. I mean, damn.

I think a lot of moms will be visiting the theater for John Carter. Mmm. I'm glad he's getting work!

Hi!

Hi. I love your reviews. John Carter is being heavily promoted on Disney Channel. My 9 year daughter cannot understand why she keeps seeing promos for the movie on a girly kid network. Maybe the girls need to be a few years older to see the value of Tim Riggins in a loin clothe.

As many ads that I've seen, I bet Disney channel is blowing up! Aw, your daughter will totally credit your good taste when she's older!

Waves back!

I totally checked my mail yesterday, thank so much for the card! (My friend and I are still attempting to plan a roadtrip to the Great White North even if we fail at saving $ and planning. The map's directions through DC and Baltimore gave me palpitations.

There are ways around the DC/Baltimore scary stuff. Do some research - I know people who have done it......

I'm headed to England in June - probably the 2nd or 3rd week - just so you know - in case you want to see me when you visit.......:D

I did see a way to avoid it, it just adds a lot of time to our trip but we're totally not going through any tolls or tunnels if I have my way. You're on my list of people to try and hang out with while we're traveling. My friend's from Rochester and while that's our final destination, but we've got lots of stops on our wishlist.

I'm already fired from driving and navigating, that's where we are in the planning phase. :)

ENGLAND! That's awesome! So exciting!

The Eagle
I watched that on the plane to Boston last year.
Okay, I watched part of it and napped through the rest. Bad headphones and tiny screens make not fun tv-watching. My first thought while watching it - hm, both the main guys I saw first in a dance movie (Step Up and Billy Elliot)

And by the way *waves madly*

I will use an old SPN icon just for you!

Oh, is that guy the Billy Elliott guy? Neat!

Yes, the other guy next to Channing is the one who played Billy Elliott. He grew up nicely by now.
