First day of school; before.

Well, in about half an hour I will be outside, waiting for the bus to pick me up. I'm really nervous about school this year, for some reason. Probably because last year wasn't fun in the least. Oh goodness. I won't scare you with my stories of 10th grade lol. I just hope your year is better than mine was.

Why don't your parents approve of veganism? It seems like a pretty healthy lifestyle as long as you make sure you are still getting protein and everything your body needs. Good luck with it!

They disapprove of it because my father is a... hillbilly. He thinks you're less of a man if you don't eat meat, if I care for animals. Besides, he's always on a diet; and his diet is Atkins, which forces him to eat very little carbs but a lot of meat. My mom doesn't want to have to cook so many meals for everyone... and my sister is vegetarian but eats fish so it's all very complicated... Haha.

But, I still think I'll go for it.

Oh, and I postponed the first day of veganism to Monday. Why? Well, I have to visit my grandmother this weekend and she ONLY cooks foods with milk and eggs.
