Abby hadn't been going anywhere in particular. She was really just searching for more mint since she was using up her available supplies fairly quickly.

When she saw Bran collapse to the ground, she immediately went over and dropped down next to him and gathered him into her arms.

"It sucks. The island is a bastardy bastardy creature," she says fervently, glaring at an unoffensive tree for what the island is doing to Bran.

The tree knows it's in trouble. It has a sword sticking out of it. It would point out that none of this is its fault, but it's a tree, it doesn't talk much.

"I don't know what to do," Bran admits quietly.
