i tend to think she didn't want to let go with you there.
i don't think she wanted you and the family to go through any more than you already had.

i held my grandmothers hand when she passed. i think about it all the time and it makes me sick. i never want to experience that again.

totally agree about terminating a life. they basically let us give my grandmother as much morphine as we wanted. i think it's why she didn't suffer much in the end.
no one wants to suffer or see a loved one suffer. it's insane.
