I find that the easiest way to get back to a "normal" state of mind is to distract myself till I am too tired to think or that my mind forget its broken. I just cant seem to find the right distractions at the moment. You're lucky you have your black and white movies. Your cooking sounds amazing and very beautiful. I really do think its one of the nicest and truest cliches.
