On the having of monies

I have this bizarre phobia about spending money. It probably stems from the fact that I don't actaully have a source of income, but I still have bills to pay. I actually kind of owe this phobia a lot. It is because I am so uncomfortable with spending money that I am able to pay my bills in my current situation. I feel the same way about spending money that you do. During the school year I work 16 hours a week, and make nearly $500 every month. Yet, I never see a dime of it except for $10 in laundry quarters about once a year. I don't cash my checks. I endorse them and hand them over to the mindflayers at our Student Accounts office.

Good luck making money. It seems to be a common quest this summer.

As will I. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll hear back from someone. I need to make at least a thousand dollars this summer, factoring in that I'll be gone for two weeks to go places.

However! We must not lose hope. We just have to do our thing and that's all we can do.

That's one of the better survival traits to own. But it sucks when you can't find a balance between rewarding yourself with something that is worth more to you than the cost of the item, and being overly prudent.
