I seem to be hardwired for depression. No matter what's going on in my life, I always find some way to worry myself into making it worse. What's up with that ( Read more... )

Yes, yes it is! If by "fun" you mean "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH WAGE!!!"

... actually, it was a pretty enlightening experience, and I'm glad I had the chance to live in Engalnd for a couple years, but goddamn. Our first big move after I became old enough to appreciate the gravity of the situation was a bitch.

As for moving, The Futuar, et al, hopefully this job interview thing goes through! Sounds cool and whatnot. Getting a job--any job--is kinda a necessary step. As for me, I'm looking to continue my education in languages/linguistics, and/or freelance writing, but in the meantime, I'm going to have to just work. McDonalds, Sears, whatever, a job is a job is a job, if it brings in money. It keeps the mind and the body busy, and it helps build up the coffers for future moving plans, emergencies and the whatnot. :0 ( ... )

Hmm... that's not a bad idea. The "rough outline" thing might be a useful tool for me. Usually I try to not worry so much and just go with the flow, but I just can't seem to get past issues like these for some reason. A person like me could probably make good use of a "flexible structure." A skeleton! GASP!
