The insanity extends to many parts of my life. For instance, I just calculated the taxes on the HGTV Dream Home, in case I win it. Turns out that the $500k cash component of the prize is enough to cover the taxes on teh whole thing, so long as you calculate under the alternative minimum tax. If you use the regular tax tables, you end up needing $200k cash in hand for the taxes, which we could never afford. *nods*
