*hugs you* As I have blathered on before, I thought it was going to be more of a funny, teasing thing. It totally turned out not as I thought it would. Plus, I cannot get into a writing zone these days. On a really good day, the Brain just writes the story and I just type it up. But recently, getting any idea to electrons is so much work it feels forced and wrong. That's how everything has been since December, including Ye Olde Vampire story. :(

BUT! I have my policies and I stick with them! Once I write it, I share it, since nearly always SOMEBODY likes it, even when I have come to feel that the story is a complete waste of time. So.

I am actually considering kinda stepping back from the whole writing business til the move is over and I can refocus. Maybe just chipping away at the vampire thing when I have a free moment, trying to feel no urgency to post anything til I'm good and ready.

I think you should never feel obliged or under deadline! But I know your Brain sets it's own rules.

I've read back through the vampire section that is relevant to my interests *grin* about three times now - partly cause I like it heaps, and partly to see what my counterpart Brain might wish to poke at. So far, I haven't actually CHANGED anything but I may soon,and will send any ideas on to you!

Seriously, this might not be what you set out to write, but what you did write is delightful and lovely and a wonderful description of just how Jack and Daniel might have got together in a really believable fashion.

I'm particularly fond of this bit,

It was one thing to be in a small amount of lust with a hot guy who regularly cuddled up to you. A guy who under other circumstances you might think of as a huge cock tease but you don't because you know it's just the circumstances and the best of a set of bad options and yet he did know full well, apparently, that Daniel was gay before he suggested the sleeping arrangements. Anyway, it was one thing to think a few lustful thoughts occasionally about your best friend. It was another thing entirely to be in love. Apparently.

It caught Daniel off stride.
