*rushes in, flailing papers*

Sorry! Sorry! I totally confused the deadline for this, and here I am, two days late. So, so sorry, synecdochic.

But here it is. My brazen attempt to crack the Eurydiceverse.

Wow. There are no words. I just read the original (for the first time, haven't the slightest idea how I missed it before) and then this and my mind is totally fucking blown. WOW.

I did happen to notice a few teeeeny things that you might want to fix, just because this is way too good for any little flaws to slow it down.

Daniel had never tried to reassure me before. (insert "to" between "tried" and "reassure")

There's also the collar. It's strange and alien and I suspect it's its meaning ("its" instead of "it's")

But it's not like I wouldn't have been here, doing this anyway, Mitchell or no Mitchell, my dick tells my brain, so I dig my fingers into that touchable ass and let myself ride Daniel's wave.

(I think the bold part should be italicized too, because it's part of what Jack's dick is telling his brain. (ha!))

Thank you so much! You should definitely check her site. I had missed whole chunks of the series.

Thanks for the edits. I was a little rushed getting it posted. I considered naming it the "OMG! I Mixed Up The Due Date" Remix, but that seemed very clunky.

Oh, wow. I love "Like Water, Lying" and this remix was the perfect complement to the original story.

I like this Jack, and I like that he doesn't continue the sardonic/sarcastic commentary inside his head, but you can still hear where that part of his armor comes from. This is an excellent remix.
