Then thing about come/cum. I go back and forth on that. I don't like it either way, and usually go for the alternate spelling so that it will be it's own word, and not become a homonym wiht a perfectly useful and not-at-all dirty verb, come. Every time I write it, though, I wince. It's a stupid verb. But you can't very well write ejaculate every time, can you? *scowls*

But, I'm not Jack. :-) Who never once thinks that, and who never stops trying to persuade Daniel to get with the program, for cryin' out loud!
Puppy pile!

Eep. This is a moment of the writer not taking a step back. Well, I'm chalking it up to Jack's gigantic ego. Plus the fact that Sam made the whole thing a package deal, so he had incentive to haul Daniel back into bed.
Yay, puppies! Naughty, frisky puppies! :D

Yes, tons of incentive quite apart from Daniel being totally hot and lickable and stuff.

I love that it isn't easy. I love the way the missions are woven into the background of the story -- especially, especially how Absolute Power impacted Daniel. I love the way that they are learning and having to work their way through the intense closeness of their team and horniness and comfort, and the difference between different kinds of love and being "in love" -- and how all those factors require balancing.

If you're willing to work within canon, SG-1 means never having to write mission fic...
the difference between different kinds of loveResulting in part from the fact that my brain refuses to write a romantic relationship between anybody but Jack and Daniel. I found that part of writing this *so* incredibly annoying ( ... )

Ooo, good point! *eyes unfinished mission fics darkly*
*singsongs* Jack and Daniel are OTP, OTP, OTP! Hee!
And, pffft, sex scenes. Didn't really notice a glaring lack. Because, story! Mmmm, mpreg conception... Toss it to me if you like. ;-)
Oh those aliens. Gods bless them for making the team do it!
