Ken flopped down on the seat and sighed heavily as he let his head drop into his hands. Onee-chan was gone. Kidnapped by that thing, Logia, who wanted vengeance so strongly that he hadn't even cared when Lucia had died.
AU:
"We're getting slaughtered," Makoto said brusquely, as he sat down on the seat next to Tenma's bed. He made his voice stay steady through force of will. Not like he'd never seen anyone die before.
"We lost Mika and Tappei today. Tenma, I know you can hear me. You have to wake up. I've never even heard your voice, but I know you can help us. You can save the Gransazers."
The machines continued to beep, and Tenma's chest continued to rise and fall in time with the concertina in the ventilator.
Makoto clenched his fists, and stood up. Hadn't really thought it'd work. He'd better go gather the others and find somewhere to hide.
Crack fic:
Tenma pushed the door open and didn't even blink at the sight of Jin on the edge of the Professor's desk, legs wrapped around Go's waist. "Sex pollen *again*?" he sighed. "You'd think Logia would come up with another weapon to use against us."
Go said hastily, "Ah, yes, that's what it is. Sex pollen."
Crossover:
Makoto looked at the back of his hand, and raised an eyebrow. Who was that tall guy in blue staring thoughtfully at the dolphins?
He took in the 'Seaick' lettering on the back of the jacket. Ah. In that case, this was probably someone connected to the 'Skick' Ryoko had told him about, the one who'd hugged her happily and then taken her shopping.
Makoto wandered over, and leaned on the railing next to the guy. "I think I could teach you something about going undercover," he murmured.
First time:
"You're the first person to call me a moron in years," Go said ruefully.
Jin looked up from the floor, heart still racing from barely getting to the clothes dryer in time. "Well, really, you deserve it! Who puts silk in a dryer!"
Fluff:
"Yes, but we want photos with *you* in them," Ai explained patiently.
Tappei nodded, steering Makoto through the crowd with a jovial arm around his shoulders. "This place is good! Don't look like that, Makoto."
Makoto groaned as he saw the little sticker booth. "You know, if you'd just *asked*, I could've set up one of my cameras with a self-timer."
Humor:
They were at it AGAIN. Tenma-san was only just rescued and they were ALREADY FIGHTING.
Ken screamed. Onee-chan and Tenma-san stopped, and turned identical expressions of shock on him.
If he hadn't been so irritated, he would've laughed.
"Onee-chan! Tenma-san!" he barked. "You two have both been kidnapped or tied up more times than I can count. You've scared me every single time! Can you please wait for five whole minutes before starting the unresolved sexual tension bickering!"
Hurt/Comfort:
Ryoko looked up from Jin's hospital bed, eyes full of agony, Jin's head resting on her shoulder. He murmured, shifting against her -- he was drugged and in pain, but he'd survive. Akira smiled sympathetically, and perched a hip on the other side of Jin. They weren't meant to allow two people on one bed, and definitely not two and a half, but both of them were slim and he could understand it. They needed comfort.
It was purely for their sake that he stayed for a few minutes, with Jin's hand in his left and Ryoko's in his right, ignoring the (non-urgent) pages that came across the loudspeaker. Purely for their sake.
Smut:
Naoto certainly had an interesting way of making the Earth Tribe bond, now he was finally interested in them, Go thought, trying to keep his mind off Ran's tongue on his neck and Naoto's mouth around his cock.
UST:
"You really should work harder," Go accused.
Jin shrugged, and returned, "And it wouldn't hurt you to relax a little more sometimes, and get that stick out of your butt."
Go scowled at him. Jin smiled back, and watched as Go reluctantly began to smile, as well. He'd make his move when the time was right, but for now it was far too much fun making Go crazy by being irritatingly sexy.
