There was just an extremely close clap of thunder. It was incredibly loud and very high pitched, and came immediately after the lightning. It sounded like...I'm not sure. I think my cat Meems got scared half to death, and it scared the hell out of me too! The schoolkids outside were screaming

I love thunder too, particularly the feeling in the air right before a storm.

Glad your exams are over! I don't actually have any schoolwork of my own this year, but for some reason I still feel happy and excited for the people around me who are almost done with their work.

Thunder seems to give me a feeling of how small you can feel. I never seem to get that feeling anywhere else. And thanks :)
