Merry Yule & Challenge Thoughts

Hi, luvs! Tomorrow 'tis Yule, so a merry day to those who celebrate the Winter Solstice. Of course, it's also the End of the World as predicted by the Mayans, except the Mayans had no idea about Leap Year so we were supposed to end months ago. Ah, well. I'll check back in on the 22nd and see if we're all still here

Actually, the leap year thing is bogus. BUT the end of the world thing is bogus too. The Mayans didn't predict the end of the world. This is just the end of a cycle (or baktun) so I think we're all safe.

I will say that I love your challenges but it seems like the last few years I haven't been writing all that much in the way of fanfic. But I do love reading all of the holiday-themed stories.

It usually isn't with those doomsday prophecies. It's a little funny how many of them we've seen in our lifetime. though this was one of the bigger ones that I remember.

And the challenges always inspire me-it's just a matter of finding the time and thought organization to write something worth posting. But if I make some headway on my second book, hopefully I'll be able to do at least one of your lovely challenges next year!
