Awesome review hun!! Thanks so much.

Yeah... I don't understand DC but I'm so very glad that Marvel is respecting their heritage and their heroes! Huzzah!!

You're welcome! :)

DC has dropped the ball for quite awhile now. I guess they're resting on their The Dark Knight laurels but now Marvel is blowing DC out of the water. Batman to the rescue! ;)

If anyone can pull it off, Batman can! ;)

One of my fave icons. That was a great scene in the movie. Go, Lucius! ;)

I LOVED IT!!! Avengers for me isn't like X-men or Batman where I came in knowing the comics first, but since the first Iron Man film, every single Avenger has won me over and I love them all! *nodnodnod*

I thought Black Widow was AWESOME! I was expecting a few kickass scenes for her, you know? But they gave us so much story! *flails!!!!!*

And when you can get the God of Deception to spill the beans, you’re one heck of an interrogator!

OHHH...YEAH!! There were so many moments I fangirled over, but that scene with her and Loki? SO GOOD!!!

And the pairings? Everyone can be shipped with everyone, lol!

Now, as for DC? *sigh* DC is letting us down! I really, really, really want TDKR to do good (especially because CATWOMAN!!!), but 200 million in three days is going to be tough to beat. The problem DC has is they seem to forget they have so many OTHER heroes besides Batman and Superman (and apparently Green Lantern now? Movie AND animated series!). It's so frustrating and sad ( ... )

I did know the Avengers history but you never know how movieverse will go. :)

I LOVE Black Widow! She's an Amazon without the bracelets! :)

Loki was beside himself when he realized that the Trickster had been tricked, heh heh.

It's a pairings extravaganza! I expect an explosion of movie fic. Good thing I'm on cap_ironman and marvel_slash. I'll also check the Archive. I already read a cute fluffy fic about cupcakes. ;)

DC puzzles me. Batman is great but he isn't going to be able to carry you alone. Superman was neglected far too long after Superman Returns and don't get me started about Wonder Woman! They mucked up Green Lantern's film and nixed a JLA film. *sighs*

I would have loved to have seen a Christian/Brandon scene like that! And all the women showing their stuff! ;)

I'm going to go see The Avengers again next week! *squees* I started a short fic already. ;)

Yes, Widow!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

It's a pairings extravaganza!

Hee, yeah. Already I've seen ten different ones while compiling CSN! And that was only for today! ;)

I don't know who's in charge over at DC and WB, but they may need to get new people in because what they're doing now isn't working! There are so many DC characters which such rich histories that would translate well to the big screen and yet, nothing's getting done. =(

The Black Widow kicks ass! :)

I'll have to check that out. I don't subscribe to that comm but I check it periodically. I barely have time to turn around much less read all the goodies over there! :)

I have noticed for quite some time that Marvel fic and art far outweighs DC.

Yeah, DC and WB have been letting things lag for almost a decade now. Aren't they jealous of Marvel's success ? If so, DO something about it!

Definitely agree with you that Avengers was awesome. I'm sure Dark Knight Rises will be just as good, if not better. Yeah, DC really only has Batman and Superman for films, though their animated stuff is still a million times better than Marvel's, though Marvel is getting a bit better than they used to be.

As for pairings, I definitely saw some bromance going on with Bruce/Tony, though not as much as Young Prof. X/Magneto in First Class.

The title should be Avengers: Awesome!!! ;)

DC does animated very well. I've enjoyed those films and TV shows very much.

Heh, I could definitely see something there between Bruce and Tony! ;)

I agree with all your thoughts on the Avengers movie. It was really awesome and I enjoyed it a lot. the cast had a great dynamic with one another and I'm onboard the Steve/Tony ship for sure. IDK. I always have a thing for ships that bicker a lot, I guess. Bruce and Tony amused me. I would love to see them have their own cop and partner type of show. They'd be the guys on in the lab with all the best snark. :D

Guess I need some icons now!

I can see why this film is racking up the dough! People are giving it good word-of-mouth just as they gave the flip side to the Green Lantern movie.

Heh, I've been shipping Steve/Tony for years! I love Steve/Bucky but that's so complicated (almost like Bruce/Dick in some ways) and until about five years ago, Bucky was dead in canon. But you know comics! No one stays dead forever. ;)

Steve/Tony has a lot of wonderful canon moments. Check out cap_ironman. They have a link to canon moments that's a huge list by now. :) They might have links to icons, too.

Heh, I like the idea of Bruce and Tony with their cop snark on! ;)

I'm going to go see it a second time this week! :)

I really hope that The Dark Knight Rises delivers. The Nolanverse Bat movies seem to have done so in the past. The trailer looks good.

DC is clueless!

An Ant Man movie? How cool is that? ;)
