Oh, Bruce, it's more than pride you feel, silly man.

Glad I found this before bed; I love the set up, the feeling of friendship...and of course, the mentions of Kryptonains.

Great, as always!

Thank you, Green Eyes! :)

I love the feeling of friendship, too. Sometimes just being among friends is what you need.

I'm a big goob, so I read part 2 first. lol. I really liked this, too. :-D I like to see Bruce have some friends (and my goodness, what a bunch of friends to have!). I liked the mention of the Kryptonians. That was cool. Now, I have to go read part 2 again, so I stay in order. Hee!

LOL! It's like walking backwards, isn't it? ;)

And you're right! A great bunch of friends here! :)

Always have to mix the Kryptonians in. Heh heh.

Glad you enjoyed it, Morganichele. :)

I love the banter between all of the men, shows just how close they are.

And the talk of Kryptonians is exciting.

Wonderful.

I wanted a lighter chapter to break up the sturm und drang this story often goes through.

Glad you liked it, Louise! :)

Oh, the crazy irony with the talk of controlling the Kryptonians!! O_O Gah! I can't wait to see where you go with that plot; I have all ideas it's gonna be some crazy action if the conflict/hunt moves closer to home, and if/when Bruce discovers that Clark is Kryptonian, I bet the shit's gonna hit the fan in some huge ways. O_o

Loved Bruce's loving pride for Clark in this. :D

You like that irony, eh? ;)

Heh, I'd say that the Hunt will play a major role in the future, and there's also penalties for those who harbor the Hunted.

Loved Bruce's loving pride for Clark in this. :D

Bruce appreciates his Prize. ;)

You mention them being billionaires. Shouldn't they at least be trillionaires or quadrillionaires or more? 'Cos it'd be almost nothing surely. Unless it's a world currency and it's been devalued or something. So one billion might be the equivalent to one quadrillion or something. Just a thought. 'Cos it was only 50 years ago that Bruce was meant to be a millionaire so can you imagine how much it could become in the future. Sorry it just sparked off this thought process.

Good thoughts, Angeloz! :)

I decided to think out some futuristic stuff and then keep some things more familiar to us. That's why the computers will still use a mouse (though I'll be showing voice-activated, too) and paper checks are still used on occasion. I wanted the scenario of a future society with a lot of anachronisms, which I felt fit a slave-owning society better.

So they could be called trillionaires, but possibly 'billionaire' covers their Earth wealth and not any treasure from off-world.
