That was SO good! And creepy. I love that you made the format like a Twilight Zone episode; very clever. I have to say, though, I can't feel too badly for Hoover. He was such a creep, both in the movie, and real life. Urgh. I love how Johnny and Mel teamed up for revenge. I'm totally blaming you for the fact that they've become one of my OTPs. And the fact that I have vampire plot bunnies running around my head.

Basically, this was a fantastic read. :)

Thank you! I'd originally written it without The Twilight Zone framing, then it occurred to me that the first paragraphs would be perfect for the opening narration. :)

He really was a piece of work!

LOL! Glad to spread the Mel/Johnny love! And vampire plot bunnies? Interesting! :)

Basically, this was a fantastic read. :)

I LOVE THIS! Spooky as hell - love the fact that Hoover got his in the end after seeing what he lost all those years by two of the people he hurt the most. Great job, sweetie!

Thanks, luv! :)

I just loved dreaming up a fitting revenge for Hoover, who destroyed so many lives, especially these two's.

Oh my God YES! I was hoping someone would do an actual Twilight Zone fic, this was so...just...gah!! I'm stunned! I love it, love it, love it!
You always have such an attention to detail in everything that you write, I love that you always throw in the little historical tid-bits for us, what with mentioning Kennedy and the like.
I especially love the ending with Hoover's face replacing Johnnie's as death mask.

Excellent work, dear, as always!!

Thank you! I love slipping those details in. :)

OMG, this was wonderful. (And considering I'm writing a death mask story myself, I was a little bummed. I don't think mine will live up.)

I love all the details. Good job with the scary build-up and the 'unveiling,' as well as delving into Hoover's tortured soul. I actually could have lived without the tongue-in-cheek Twilight Zone thing, because I thought this was a seriously good story, but you showed your talent for parody as well as fiction.

Great read.

I am a great believer in people bringing different things to the table on the same theme. I would love to see your story! :)

Thank you, Mistress! :)

Getting into Hoover's head was scary. ;)
