Very cute slice of life.

You capture the spirit of the time, and pull the reader in by the use of music common to the era.

This was adorable! I love these two together and you write them so well.

You always do such a great job of capturing the little touches. Summer feels so real when you write it. And the playful way you write our girls is wonderful. :)

SO very, very vivid. I felt like I was at the beach, in the silver age, smelling the cocoa butter and splashing with them.

You had me from the very first, fabulous sentence, and I adore the last sentence, too.

Meant to comment this morning, but an all nighter and work in 30 minutes kept me from doing it! XD

I reeeeaallly like the atmosphere of this story. It's a window to simpler times, were fun in the sun was just that. FUN! Not the who's who and what to wear and what's in fashion. You just, go to the beach, sit down somewhere...and let the day take you.

Now I want to go to the beach! ;D Love their realationship too! So casual, but so much to read into! I think that's what made this fun!

Loved it! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to plot a way to get to the beach...sometime in the next week. XD
