I, too, love the method of learning about a person from a room or backpack or a desk. I thought that Clark might like a movie like "The Maltese Falcon" and that would be ironic as it's a classic detective mystery, and of course he's in love with the World's Greatest Detective. :) And I thought there was something poetic about him enjoying the "The Day The Earth Stood Still". :)
I'm glad you thought the sex was hot! :)
I adore the Kents. I think once they accepted Bruce it would be in all the way with them, and they'd end up loving Dick, too. Dick loves the Kents and the farm. It reminds him a little of the circus with the animals and gives him a chance to be around animals again for a little while. And who doesn't love the Kents? In my Clex fics even Lex wants the homemade meals and warm family time.
And, yes, only love would get Bruce to get up that early! LOL!
Glad you're in a happy, happy place! I'm honored to be your guide. :)

A painting of the Kent farmhouse
hung over the highboy. Martha was no Georgia O’Keefe, but she had some talent with canvas and brush.
It just feels very right
The sex was blazing good as usual! *purrs*
“Just thinking that we’d better tell your mom we’ll do the laundry today.”
*giggles* Poor Clark. And Dick at the end was just love all over, wasn't he? I want to pinch his cheeks...

I'm glad you like the Martha detail. I see Jonathan as a woodcarver (my dad often worked with wood) and I also gave her my dad's painting talents. My mom's talents always live in Martha's fantastic cooking. My mom's primary creative outlet was culinary, and I am happy to say that I was a beneficiary of her talent in that area for many years. :)
Glad you liked the sex! ;) Its always a little nerve-wracking to put a sex scene out there because you want it to be *hot*, not silly, unless you're going for silly! :)
You know I'll always manage to slip in Dickie-bird if he fits in the story. Jonathan and Martha were insistent that he visit, too. :)
