Happy sigh.

You did this very well, especially balancing the dynamic between Bruce, Dick, Clark and Alfred. You had them all down perfectly.

Hope to see more in the future.

Thank you, DF! :) I'm glad the dynamic worked for you.

Future fic: "The Heir". :)

Thank you, Merfilly! I thought it was just pure Alfred to continue baking. Kind of the British stiff-upper-lip-during-the-Blitz kind of thing. :)

I like writing Silver Age sensibility in the contemporary setting (the Internet and other 21st-century stuff). I guess I've got this little DC Universe of my own tucked away in my mind. I'm glad others like to join me there!

I love a good Bruce/Dick fic, and this one definitely delivered. I loved seeing the depth of emotion Bruce has for Dick, but that he also trusts and respects him enough to let him do his job.

Thank you, Cavaleira! Like Bruce, I wanted Dick to stay at the Manor, but I knew that as leader of the Titans he had to return right away. If someone had been badly injured or Superman hadn't been around for a nice, quick taxi ride, he would have called Bruce instead of taking the time to fly the Batplane home. Since everyone was all right and Superman was there, he took advantage of that and showed Bruce in person that he was really all right.

As for Bruce, he *does* have tremendous respect for his protege's leadership skills and then gets the reward of Dick eager to return home later that night. So it's all good! :)

Thank you, Silver! :)

I wanted the boys to be relaxed and enjoying themselves and showing how far Bruce had come since starting his romantic relationship with Dick. Then of course their other lives intruded so it added a little drama. ;)

I am always fascinated by Dick's natural leadership ability, an area in which he excels over Bruce. Bruce does well with his small team of Robins over the years and Batgirls, too, but as for a large team in which one has to *lead* and can't just *command*, Dick does far better.

Clark is special to the Batman/Robin pairing so I like to include him as much as possible. :)

Loved this! I liked the flashback--I have a weakness for Bruce calling Dick by name when he's distraught, even if they are in costume--and I love the way Dick gets Clark to fly him home because he knows how worried Bruce will be.

Clark admiring Dick makes me happy, too, because sometimes, I think DC forgets how wonderful Dick is. It's why I'm still kind of angry about Jason and Tim; how dare Bruce or DC try to replace Dick Grayson?

Anyway, very well done, as always. Sweet and satisfying and a nice balance of angst and joy. I love hurt-comfort fics. :D

I admit that I love it when Bruce is distraught, too, and uses the name! Want to hurt the Bat? Hurt Robin!

DC doesn't forget just sometimes. They wanted to kill him off, for crying out loud!

I'll admit it; it irks me that there were 'replacements' for Dick.

*waves happily* I'm the Queen Of Hurt/Comfort! ;) I love hurt/comfort.

I'm blushing over here at your words of praise! Thank you! :)
