Okay, Universe, please stop! Debbie Reynolds has passed away a day after her daughter. :(

I'm with you.

I did read that she told Todd she 'wanted to be with Carrie'.

I kind of wonder whether she willed it to happen.  I know how it sounds but the same thing happened to my grandmother. The day before she passed away she kept saying 'I want to go'.

Losing Carrie must have been such a shock. I read that they had become closer in recent years.

She could very well have willed herself to go. How many times have we heard of a loved one dying and the one left behind dies right after? Usually it's spouses but also happens with parent and child. :(

What terrible news! I'd heard she was hospitalized, but was hoping for the best since she wasn't that old. I'm really sorry to hear of her passing.

I thought she might survive, too, but had a sneaking suspicion that we'd hear this news. Ms. Reynolds was a true star.
