I'm absolutely heartbroken. Leia was the first female who proved she didn't have to be a damsel in distress. Carrie held her own in the Star Wars movies. She will be sorely missed.

Oh, yes! She was right in the thick of things and took charge over Han and Luke on the Death Star! I loved her willingness to get into the mix and be a true leader of the Rebellion as well. I'm glad she got the chance to be in last year's movie.

I was very sad at this. She was too young. Her mother dying the next day was even sadder. Leia was a great role model who was strong and sarcastic. It's a shame.
