Review (American Hustle)

I saw a very enjoyable movie, American Hustle, with my sister this vacation week. I would highly recommend it. Set in the 1970s, it centers around the FBI sting Abscam. Sounds like it'll be a good movie. I've seen the trailer and I cannot believe that is Christian - he looks so different.

The sucky part is, it doesn't start screening here for another month. Ugh, I hate that NZ is so behind everyone else in a lot of things.

Very fun movie! It blended drama and comedy together seamlessly. :)

And I had to blink watching the opening scene. "Is that Christian?" But as usual his acting is superb and he really is Irving, con artist extraordinaire. :)

It's really pretty interesting with the plot and the performances really sell it. Christian is amazing as usual and everyone else really does a great job. :)

Thanks for the review - this is on my "want to go see at the movie theatre but probably won't get to until it hits DVD" list. :) I am going to try though, if only to see JR in those clothes.

Omigod, his HAIR! And he really works those clothes. ;)

Jeremy does a fantastic job as Camden's Italian-American Mayor, Carmine Polito. And naturally Christian just knocks his role out of the park. :)
