I read the whole story in one sitting. I have to admit the theory about Lex really does make a lot of sense when you think about it. He did seem to change drastically after Zod possessed him.

It's definitely my headcanon! I just couldn't buy Lex turning so evil seemingly overnight. Blame Michael Rosenbaum for such a fine nuanced portrayal, we couldn't buy Evil Lex without some sort of explanation. ;)
I love the idea of Bruce and Clark together.
They are a perfect match! :)
This was wonderful. I enjoyed it very much.
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks so much for commenting. :)
That was just a lovely story. I love Lex fighting back and the possibility of the 'real' Lex (S1-S4) coming back. It's too late for him and Clark, but Lex deserves more than what he turned into by the end of Smallville.
And I just love how supportive Bruce and Clark are of each other and their friends. They truly are the World's Finest.

I loved the idea of Lex fighting back, too. I wanted to leave the possibility open for the Lex we knew and loved to come back. :)

Finally had the time to read it and now read it all in one go. I'm glad I finally did! :D
Loved all the h/c stuff and the domestic Bruce/Clark scenes.
This is actually a very interesting explanation for why Smallville!Lex changed so drastically and it lovely that now there is a chance for him to heal and come back as the Lex Clark once knew.

It's definitely my headcanon. I just can't see the Lex portrayed in Season 1-4 suddenly tapping his Inner Evil. ;) I think there were extenuating circumstances, poor dear.
