2010 DCU Fic/Art Wee!Dick Challenge :)
How about celebrating Wee!Dick, the most adorable boy in the DCU? :) Come with me and we’ll honor the first and most famous sidekick in the DCU, and the original Robin! Kicking things off on March 20th, the first day of spring, because why wouldn’t a Robin love that date? ;) The Challenge will run until May 31st.

Indulge your love of Dick Grayson! Creative works (fic, art, icons, manips, wallpapers, fanmixes, etc.) must focus on Wee!Dick. Explore his early days at the Manor and as Robin. See him take up the mantle of leadership for the Teen Titans. You could even focus on his Haly’s Circus days with his parents.
How did Dick change forever the lives of Bruce and Alfred? What was his first meeting with Clark like as he fanboys Superman? ;) What was it like to encounter the Joker for the first time?
Your creative works can be adorable fluff or deal with the tragedy that brought Dick into Bruce and Alfred’s lives, for example. Both light and dark acceptable! Let’s celebrate a very special little boy!
The Usual Suspects:
Genres: Humor, fluff, drama, adventure, hurt/comfort, AUs, etc.
Pairings: Your creative works will be focused on Dick as a child, so the pairings (if any) (or threesomes, if you like) would be adult characters. Het or slash welcome. If you do want to write Bruce and Dick both as adults (slash or not), then you would use the Wee!Dick theme for flashbacks, of course. :)
Continuity: Comicsverse, movieverse, ‘toonverse, TVverse. Cross-overs with other fandoms welcome as long as the DCU gets equal 'screen time'.
Ratings: The usual: G, which I expect is the rating that will be used most. PG-13 if you get into some violence (especially during their patrols or other adventures). R and NC-17 would be for other (adult) characters besides Wee!Dick, or Dick grown up. I’ll have to stress that no works depicting Dick in an underage relationship will be allowed. Keep his libido for the teen years and beyond! ;)
Posting dates: March 20-May 31, 2010 (If you don’t make the deadline, don’t worry. We want to read your fic or look at your awesome art even it’s past May 31st!) :)
Cross-challenging welcome, so if you can fit your work into more than one Challenge, go for it! I’m running some right now that could fit quite nicely!
