Woke up at 6:30 am, got ready, picked up erinearl and drove to work. I almost never drive to work, but...

After work there was a memcached hackathon ~5 miles from Google at Sun's campus. So I went to that and met a bunch of people, both people I've met before and people I've only talked to online. And got some hacking done. It was weird working in C

There was that poster downstairs with the locations, but once we were upstairs we weren't sure where to go next. We just wandered around until we stopped hitting stuff and thought we hit the ~5-6 number of items we remembered from the sign.

Heh, I tried to watch the first debate but it was too late and too dull. I'm content now to catch the best bits on YouTube the next morning.

McCain says he's going to bring up Ayers as both Obama and Biden have taunted him about not doing so at the second debate. How is this not walking directly into a trap?

FWIW, ather than manually maintaining a changelog, something like
git shortlog lastreleasetag..
will automate most of the work.
