Nominate your favorite films in each division!

NOMINATIONS CLOSED... a run-off vote to be posted shortly.
Reply to this post with up to 5 different films in each of the following divisions. Use the provided guidelines when selecting your nominations.
Comedy Division: Includes films whose IMDB.com genre listing is at least one of the following: Comedy, Family, Musical
Drama Division: Includes films whose IMDB.com genre listing is at least one of the following: Drama, Romance, Action, Adventure, Fantasy (not overlapping with sci-fi), Crime, Film-noir, Horror, Thriller, Mystery, War, Western
Cult Classics Division: Includes 60 films listed by Entertainment Weekly, which is comprised of a top 50 selected by EW staff and a top 11 selected by readers. (click here to see the list, and let us know if you have issues with the link)
Sci-Fi Division: Includes films whose IMDB.com genre listing includes Sci-Fi; also includes for which the genre also overlaps with Sci-Fi*

IMPORTANT...
--> Films must be 60 minutes or more in feature length.
--> Films that have sequels will not count as a series. Nominate individual films within a series only.
--> Films with an IMDB.com genre listing of Animation, Biography, Documentary, or History should be nominated in whichever divisions seem appropriate to the nominator.
--> When genres overlap:
----> *Sci-Fi films that are not Cult Classics MUST go in the Sci-Fi division. Please check IMDB.com to ensure your Comedy and Drama nominations are not also listed as Sci-Fi.
----> Films that overlap Comedy, Drama, and/or Cult Classics will count for whichever division in which you nominate them. (In other words, you could potentially nominate a film twice by putting it in two different divisions.)
--> Recommendation: pick your Cult Classics first from the list, then your Sci-Fi, to help with the selections in Comedy and Drama

IN CASE OF A TIE... In case of a tie within the top four of each division, the moderator will choose the seeds/standings. In case of a tie for getting into the top four of each division, the moderator will post a "play-in" match-up (similar to the wild card positions in sports tournaments).

Remember, the more nominations a film receives, the more likely it is to become part of the brackets! Help spread the word to help some of your favorites make it into the brackets.
