That particular kitty (I have 7) is Charcoal. She is about 18 months old.

Seven kitties - wow, you are by far a crazier cat lady than I! I only have two now, though I used to have three. Once I graduate I plan on a houseful of cats.

I have a soft spot for strays. My four youngest are actually all littermates - they were born to a stray cat where I work and the administration said that if someone didn't take them home, they were going to the local shelter (which is *not* a no-kill shelter)...so my three cats became seven...

Thank you. She's my little whale...she was the runt of the litter and has been overcompensating ever since. She's at 14 pounds (!!) right now.

yeah.. I have a 4 legged furry fat ass myself. She was something close to 25 pounds when I got her, and dieted her to 16. looking for a kitty treadmill. But I lurves the ol' girl.. ^.^

Runts make the best cats. And good god, but 14 pounds is huge! My own runt is sadly no better than eight pounds. I miss having a big cat. When I was a kid, I had a Maine Coon mix that topped out at 23 and change.

1/4 inch colored labels. You can get them at pretty much any office supply store. Extra-fine tip Sharpie to write on them. Some names are obviously way too long to write all of it out, so they get shortened - ie. "Santa Eu", "MB: UP", "CT3", "Clois Grave", etc...I use a red pen for LEs, a blue pen for GCs, a green pen for expensive GCs (chakra, salon, tarot, panacea, sephiroth), and a brown pen for single notes.

Ha, your ink labelling colour scheme is the same as mine, except that I put single notes under LEs and use black for TALs instead. Blue for GCs just feels right, somehow...

(saves link so the next time my hubby says "don't you have enough BPAL yet" I can show him that clearly I don't :P)
