There was an older Hamadryad formula that had cinnamon, so I hear, but now it's a wintergreen...and I don't know anyone who likes it, myself included. So no, you're not alone in smelling Altoids. My description was Certs; close enough!

I love jasmine green tea; it's one of my favourites. When I want to have green tea and feel all pseudo-Eastern, I find Orpheus is a good choice, as is Holiday Moon, or Val Sans Retour (green) layered with Nihil (deep warm floral). I have yet to find anything that duplicates the scent, though, only smells that give me the same 'mood' as a warm, elegant cup of jasmine green. :)

Oh, good, I thought I was crazy because all the reviews on the forum said "Cinnamon!" and I just thought, wtf, I have no cinnamon in this. O_o

I'll look into those suggestions...none of BPAL's jasmines have done it for me so far.

I think one of the newer Salons with the Fox Woman leaving her child is one that smells of jasmine tea.

The Fox-woman Kuzunoha Leaving Her Child, Yoshitoshi Tsukioka.
White tea, cherry blossom, wisteria, star jasmine, and teak.
