There was an older Hamadryad formula that had cinnamon, so I hear, but now it's a wintergreen...and I don't know anyone who likes it, myself included. So no, you're not alone in smelling Altoids. My description was Certs; close enough!
I love jasmine green tea; it's one of my favourites. When I want to have green tea and feel all pseudo-Eastern, I find Orpheus is a good choice, as is Holiday Moon, or Val Sans Retour (green) layered with Nihil (deep warm floral). I have yet to find anything that duplicates the scent, though, only smells that give me the same 'mood' as a warm, elegant cup of jasmine green. :)

I'll look into those suggestions...none of BPAL's jasmines have done it for me so far.
