Black Moon:
The absence of light: motia attar, black orchid, mugwort, English pear, cucumber, blue lotus, jonquil, massoia, calamus and crystal musk.

I wasn't even sure what some of this was until slave1 was helpful and sent me links. In the bottle, the cucumber and pear are obvious, mixed with something woody, kinda like what I found in Jupiter. It ( Read more... )

I wish I got the cucumber and pear in Black Moon, but on me it is mainly florals and the pear and cucumber are very, very faint. :(
I still love the scent though! :D

I'm assuming I'm smelling cucumber. I could be totally wrong. :P

Cucumber to me is very obvious in Blue Moon. It's crisp and clean and has that slight "vegtable" smell. If you've ever smelled "Tranquil Breezes" by Victoria Secret, that is a super cucumber scent... or cucumber melon by Bath & Body Works. I can barely smell it in my Black Moon.

I wore Black Moon again yesterday, and I got a clean almost creamy note in it that reminded me of shea butter, but that's not a note listed so I have no idea where that's coming from but it's not cucumber that's for sure. :)

I love Fenris Wolf, and very much agree that it is not necessarily a masculine scent. On me, it's just warm, woodsy amber-musk goodness.

I'm another Fenris Wolf fan! I don't get "masculine" from it either, just a woodsy amber. It's especially nice for layering - Fenris Wolf and The Lion are my two favorite "base" scents to layer florals or lighter scents over.
