I got it! I got it!! (so excited I can't stand it!!)

My box of imps came in the mail just now! I'm so excited! I tore into it right away and happily sniffed. :) It seemed like I got a horde of frimps, too, which is soooo cool, 'cause I love all of them!! One of the frimps is Vicomte de Valmont, which made me think immediately of my hubby. ^^ And one I ordered, Dragon's Eye is my immediate ( Read more... )

^___^ I was over the moon when I got my shipping notice email on Friday; they couldn't have come at a more perfect time. And now I can't stop smelling my wrists. hahaha The Dragon's Eye smells so GOOD on! :D

If you are partial to Dragon's Eye you will probably like the other oils from that category. They all have Dragon's Blood in them! :-)

So far, I still like Dragon's Eye best. I tried Sin this morning and I had to scrub it off. On my skin, it reminded me of the older ladies' perfume when they go out for social events... not something I'm keen on smelling like. hahaha Ophelia was next; I kept that on, but still up in the air about that one. I will definitely check out the rest of the Dragon scents! :) Thanks!

I've found that diluting depends on a number of things. The ingreidents of the oil are a big one-- the stronger the scent, the less you are going to need. For instance, I added 1/4 of a bottle (or like, two imps, methinks) of TALs Sexual energy to a whole 10oz bottle of almond oil and it infused it mightily. But I had to add more than an imp of Fae to a much smaller (probably 1 or 2 oz) decant of coconut oil to get the scent to come out at all. You really just have to experiment. Start with a tiny, tiny amount and keep adding until you're happy.

Thank you for the reply! I appreciate it. I will do that and hopefully not spill a drop! ^^

You're welcome!

Can I suggest getting an eyedropper? And/or work on a non-porous surface, so that you can scrape up anything you spill and salvage some of it. I work on a clean piece of glass (seriously; I just stole one out of a picture frame) and keep my old library card handy to move/lift the oil in case I do spill.

Ahem. Saving BPALz r srs bizness, in this house. After the second time it happened, though, and made me cry, I figured it was time to make a plan. xD

I was thinking I might take one of the 1ml syringes I have around for the cats and reappropriate it for bpal. ^^ Good idea about the glass! The thought of losing even a drop makes me cringe!

One thing to be aware of about coconut oil is that it's solid at room temperature, unless the room is very warm. So it might not be the best pick for roller bottle use. Something more liquidy like almond oil or jojoba, maybe.
