Wet dogs smell musky--I'll bet it's the musk and ambrette. Almonds don't smell nutty, but sweet and cherry-like.

Almonds usually smell cherry like... or at least almond extract does. But I was thinking in this scent it was more toasted almonds because I smelled a bit of that. Musk is usually beautiful on me so it's probably the amberette. Or maybe the musk just doesn't work on me in this scent because of the combination of notes. :)

Do spicy scents work on you? I hope so. :)
Actually after a few hours the scent really mellows out. It's one of those scents I like the fade down more than the actual prime of the scent.
I'm also going to try and wear it in a scent locket and see if the cardamom will stay in check that way. That is one spicy little enraged groundhog!!! :)

Well, that's the thing - so far I haven't found a spicy scent that works for me. They tend to wear a short time, and randomly the cinnamon scents irritate my skin. So I'm ever hopeful to find a spicy scent that works for me, because I LOVE spices in other things. ^___^

I really hope this one works for you then. :) :)
It didn't burn my skin at all. Usually cinnamon can do that, but cardamom never has...

Oh! I'm so happy to read your review! =D I loved Anansi Boys and I very much wanted to get a bottle of Mr. Nancy, this definitely makes me want to buy two sans even trying them! =D

Thanks for this!
