'Freedom Tower is BUNK'

The entire freedom tower design is BUNK. There's a reason people have snapped up all the merchendise of the NYC skyline with the towers in it.

I'm not a fan of the 'this entire site is hallowed ground' thing. It's too impracticle. I really want the towers back.. and have yet to talk to a new yorker (new york city) that doesn't. Who's behind this freedom tower? Where does it come from? Where is its support?

If i'd put some thought into it.. I'd say 2001 feet is a much better number. Or maybe 2001' 9.11" ??

I finally got an opportunity to read the answer to my comment, a few posts back in regards to the war. Yes, I admit to being slightly biast. But also taking a buddhist approach, I can understand your views as well.

there is NO FREAKING WAY that the WTC site willn ot host something commercial. the space is just too valuable.

that said, i'd _like_ to see it remain hallowed ground, but in this country, with this political and economic system? no way.
