(Hi! Here via heroes_tv!)

if the Haitian seemed to be firing on all cylinders as recently as "three weeks ago" Heroes-time, when and how did he contract the virus?
Dang it, that's something I forgot to mention in my review! You'd think that after that one advertising campaign for S3 of Lost backfired, networks would stop trying to promote a single episode as having "all the answers".

While the episode was good, I think they realized they flubbed thimeline. Are we to believe that in three weeks time Nathan grew a Grizzly Adams beard, became a near-alcoholic, explained away his sudden miraculous healing to the public, the hospital, and his wife, who left him and has some sort of restraining order against him? Maybe if they said that Kensei's blood also sped up his beard growth I might buy it ( ... )

beard growth is different for different people. I could grow that beard in three weeks.

Just browsing episode posts:

Elle does get everyone all up in a frenzy and it really makes me giggle.

Also, I did find Adam's 30 year confinement to be a potential issue. I suppose, however, that being alive for 400 years makes 30 not seem like quite so long..

& I would really love to see evil Maya. I think it would be an awesome storyline.

DL should have been stuffed in a refrigerator.

I'm going to be annoyed if Ellie is a Petrelli sibling.

I agree there needs to be more about what happened to Nathan. Could be that w/o Lindemann at the controls, the voter fraud issue was caught onto, and he simply lost in the recount. No matter what though, a congressman (or candidate) that suddenly drops out would have the media so far up his poop-shoot that he wouldn't have privacy for three minutes, much less three months. Which might also explain the beard--facial hair DOES act as a disguise sometimes. Compound that with the issues of the wife n' kids, could easily drive a man to drink, much less the thought of losing your brother in something you think you could have prevented.

As to DL's death... I'm actually cool with it. Not because I didn't like the character, but sometimes, deaths are senseless. It also grounds the 'Heroes' as being at their core, vulnerable and human. Besides, I'm a HUGE proponent of keeping him around as one of Nikki's derangements, sort of like a 'good angel' perched on her shoulder, keeping Jessica and any other personalities at bay. A novel way to ( ... )
