due to a lack of snow, I would guess that these pics are not recent?

Oh no :) They're from 2008. I'm just itchy to go hiking/backpacking :)

After hiking through all that overgrown vegetation, I think i'd be feeling a bit itchy too...darn bugs...

Oh, bugs were an issue once the sun set, but not too much during the day. But that vegetation, now that was tough - lots of wild berries and wild roses full of thorns ....

No, these are from 2008.

That said, the snow is gone and the grass is quite green :)
