I'm not going home for New Year again.
Everyone is so busy. Some have their exams period, some have their work, some already have their plans for New Year's, some go home.

anyway it's worth to see parents and homecity, isn't it?

no, it's not.
I can see my parents and hometown end of February / beginning of March, which is in 2 months.
There are people whom I would like to see (and this does not include shouting "how do you do?!!" to each other at a party) more often than twice a year. For the homecity as itself however twice a year is perfectly fine.

i thought i was the only loser who made her best to ruin everything that had been planned.
still there was a warm family party.

I'd say my problem with NY was more about the lack of people around, and less about the location. The warm family party was highlighted by sis coming home half past eleven and then leaving again before one o'clock. Mother left around half past midnight as well. So yeah, the family was warmly together on NY, just not too long.
