They're a little late on this, aren't they? "West End Girls" was in 1984, and April Fools' Day was two weeks ago.

Well, at least they're getting recognized! :) PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals) is a little late to the game, though. Or they *really* have nothing left to do.

I hear the same comment about Erasure, too. What's great, is the boys (both sets) have made so much money now, that they know they have their core fan base, and they're happy to do their stuff, tap into that core fan base, and be good to go. PSB and Erasure could have retired YEARS ago, but they're still doing their thing because they love what they do.

I'm all for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, but PETA are cracked out of their collective minds.

Not too long ago they raised objections to the Nintendo DS/Wii game Cooking Mama because of its "use of meat-based recipes." They even made a flash game for their site called "Cooking Mama: Mama Kills Animals."

They also came to Westminster Dog Show dressed up as the KKK... and all sorts of other fun stuff! D:

Ridiculous.
