I'd be interested in asking him some acting-related questions. For instance, how did he deal with having no depth perception for much of the show? (Having done theatre yourself, I'm sure you recognize the importance of depth perception to an actor.)

And there was a very subtle shift in the character from the point where he learned that he was a Cylon sleeper. Given that he didn't even know Tigh was a Cylon until he got the script for the episode that revealed it, what was the thought process he put into developing the change in the character? (I can't even quite put my finger on what the change was, except that he became subtly conflicted. Very subtly... it was there, but I can't point at any particular moment right now and say "there it is ( ... )

Frak. There's no way I'm gonna be able to get up there for this, despite three excellent reasons to go. Stupid Real Life interfering with any con I ever wish to go to.

Hope your tests go well!

Three reasons? Obviously Michael Hogan is one of them. Without wanting to sound egotistical (and probably failing), I'm assuming that meeting me IRL would be another. What (or who) is the third? David Nykl? One of the author guests? Or something else?

And you know, it's only a weekend... you don't have to plan a massive vacation around it, at least not this one time when there's other stuff going on in your life. Toronto's not going anywhere.

And thanks for the good wishes on the medical side.

Coolness!

Hey, I'm sorry to keep bugging you, but can you let me know about that email? I need to go look elsewhere if you're not interested.

Responded... and I will try to do what I said I would do tomorrow (I don't know if the person I need to call has plans for the long weekend).

I am going to say this again: PRE-FUCKING-ORDER. Bricks & Mortar store stupidity is why God invented online ordering. At least you know you'll get it.

I import stuff from the UK online just because I know that I not willing to wait for them to get here. And it makes me a happier person. I have my cds, and I don't have to be angry with the blank staring people at the stores.

Yeah I agree, I just ordered some stuff from Amazon UK it came in 2-3 days and prices were good. I haven't ordered the Pet Shop Boys yet Amazon Canada wants $10 for postage which is way too much on a $15 CD but if you live in Canada I think you can get free shipping. I'm gonna wait for the USA release on April 21st.

You're not gonna miss blank staring people at the stores LOL
