Gaylaxicon Day 4

The final day at Gaylaxicon was filled mostly with saying goodbye to friends for another year (or, for those who attend Worldcon or Dragon*Con, another 10 or 11 months), and collecting some email addresses to stay in touch. Wait, the name of Dominion changed? When did this happen?

The one near me was rebranded around the time that I was bitching about parts of it not being accessible despite the store as a whole being open, about a month ago.

I think it's a work in progress - someone told me that not all of them have been changed yet. I think it has something to do with Dominion being acquired by A&P, but I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly.

It makes this icon a bit of a historical artifact. ;)

Hiho,

This is deja vu for me - years ago, all the Dominions in Quebec were rebranded as Provigos, so it was actually weird for me to find Dominions again when we moved here.

As far as I can tell, none of the Dominions in Mississauga have been rebranded yet!

There are only two Lees who attend Gaylaxicons (so far as I know). Both of them were there this year, though defenestr8or only made it for the Saturday. That's part of why I clarified, in case someone who was there reads this and says, "I thought he drove down from Philly and left on Saturday night!" :)

Now, if you start attending them every year, you too can be part of the clarifying statements that I add to my posts. :)
