When Filipino-Chinese are kidnapped, it's tragically normal. When Filipino-Chinese are kidnapped by other Filipino-Chinese, well now, That's Entertainment. William How (a fifty-something businessman) was kidnapped while jogging in Corinthian Gardens, which as most of you know is an exclusive gated subdivision in Quezon City.

I haven't read it yet as I'm off to my cousin's party, but I just wanted to say Carl - HAHAHAHAHA! I'm sorry, I'm mean, but when I found out how STUPID the overtly amateur kidnapping attempt was (not that I know what a perfect kidnapping is, or even how a perfect kidnapping is foiled), I thought to myself, "Wow, ang tanga."

I cannot believe the shame. An ICAn and a Xaverian, no less (the chismosa in me immediately ran to my Ahia to ask if he knew these two people). I dread the day when both schools would be left with no academic AND moral prestige whatsoever. Teka, meron pa ba? (just kidding)

Buti ka pa, off to a party on a Friday night while I'm home blogging. :))

The ICAn was a Tazian daw. Not sure if the guy is really from Xavier but it sure sounds like it.

I've never been particularly proud of being from Xavier (my dad gets pissed at me for that) but with this I've hit a new low. I always knew I went to school with a bunch of thugs, but I never knew to what extent until all these stories of gambling debts started popping up.

Incidentally, that Xavier kick-out who was in the shootout with Jawo's son also lived in Corinthians.

hahahahaha Xavier Mafia - crap that sounds like HPAIR if you ask me. hahahahaha ... and can i just say that i nearly got into that whole sports gambling thing. im an nba freak and i figured i could earn a quick buck. sadly im not blessed with the riches... just the stupidity and incompetence... hahahahaha. when i start working... i wonder... hahahahaha

oh crap. i remember all these stories about those friggin xavier bets. and i actually thought they were just pulling my leg-- until i met the people who owe money, and to whom the money is owed. :))

there's just no end to it. :)) and ive heard parents suing each other over their kids' bets, or parents begging off the debts cos they're so ridiculously huge. :))

either xavier is so boring htey create their own entertainment, or they're just plain ingeniously weird ;))

They're just rich and bored honey. ;) It's amazing how so much money can make a life so worthless.

First time I've heard the parents suing each other though. I'm amazed it hasn't escalated to parents shooting or beating each other up too.
