I also really really loved Sedition, and even wrote my very first fanfic as a POV on that one, because hey hallucinating Jake Green how could that *possibly* be bad, huh??
Unlike a lot of fans, I loved Eric because...brothers. And I just liked him. And Hawkins is my very favorite badass ever next to Dean. But Jake made that show and I've watched those eps over and over.
I actually liked Eric okay as well. He had his problems but there wasn't really a character on that show that wasn't morally compromised in some way. Except maybe Goetz, who had no redeeming qualities I can think of right off the top of my head.
I didn't know you liked Homicide: Life on the Streets! Damn, that was a good, albeit heavyshow. I haven't seen every episode, but boy did the ones I watch leave an impression. I honestly think there are some episodes I wouldn't watch again, because they just really got to me (say, the one where Vincent D'Onofrio's guest starred as a vic pushed between the subway and the track) - but if anything, that almost makes me respect it more.
...and now I'm thinking about that damn subway episode again. Better go watch a puppy cam or something for a few minutes. :)
H:LotS is a show I got into way back when I had no idea fandom as a thing existed. It made me love Andre Braugher forever and ever and ever, and I had a terrible, wonderful crush on Melissa Leo. Also hi honey!
