Hope you enjoy it! Z.A. is one of the very best m/m authors publishing today. St. Nachos is my favorite and has some of the best characters I have read about. Drawn Together is full of yaoi goodness... You can't go wrong with any Z.A. Maxfield book.

I'm eager to get into this work. you've given me so many treasure in the past week or so that it'll take me awhile to work through them. but what a wonderful way to spend time.

I write rps and fps myself, and it is so great to read m/m stories that aren't fandom related. Makes me wonder if I should take a shot at an OC story.

Again, thank, you so much!

I think this was actually the first Z.A. Maxfield story I ever read...I'd marked it as a "best of the best" even back then, before I knew how much I liked her as an author. The tension between Kevin and Connor is marvelous; the unfolding of both of their past histories, letting the reader see how those events have marked both characters, was truly masterful. The clues about the murders, and the images that Kevin has to endure because of his psychic gift, were very intense and compelling (ok, that's my buzz word for angsty) but really fit with the intensity of the story. And the plot twist about Kevin's "secret" identity as an author was something that ZAM really expanded on with "ePistols at Dawn". Awesome book - great summary and review!

I don't know why I took so long to pick up this book from my tbr pile. I should have read it long ago. The ending circling back to Kevin's "secret" identity was priceless! LOL
