an american tail always makes me cry, no fail.

Just so you know...when I was little my dad and I used to sing somewhere out there to each other. He would sing Fievel's part and I would sing Tanya's part. We are adorable.

that... is probably the cutest thing i've ever heard in my life.

when i was really little i wanted a fievel stuffed animal and my mom wouldn't buy it for me, and since i was apparently the brattiest kid in the world i threw a temper tantrum on the floor of macy's or whatever store it was. my grandpa was there and broke down and bought the doll for me. my point being not that i'm a brat, but my grandpa was a softie when it came to me. the movie makes me think of him.

don't you also like ferngully? we're probably childhood movie twins.

Fern Gully, An American Tail, THE ORIGINAL Land Before Time, Annie, and Oliver were pretty much the only movies that existed when I was a little kid.

All those records? Fuckin fantabulous.

Funny story- I've been on a Don Bluth movie spree as of late (he's the guy that animated an American Tail, and the Land Before Time). Seeing that you now have the soundtrack makes me very happy.

i didn't know it was the same guy who animated both of those movies! they always make me think of eachother, so i guess it makes sense.

the soundtrack is amazing. you can come to our apartment in the fall and listen to it anytime!
