When you posted the first chapter of this, I thought "I want to read this, but I don't have the time right now, so I'll save it for later". Then later just never happened and I forgot about the fic. Then yesterday, when I had an unusual amount of online time thanks to a number of vacations days spet to get time between Christmas and New Years off (and I'm really glad I insisted on taking them now, though I feel guilty knowing how hard my co workers have to work to make up for my absence), and I saw this chapter posted. So I decided to just read all the chapters in one sitting. As it turned out, I only got to chapter 9 last night, but I was able to finish the rest today ( ... )

oh wow, thanks! that really helps me out because I really worry about being boring sometimes or hitting the point too hard. I want him to agaonize, but I also want it to be interesting for the reader.

I'm beginning to resent the "ho boy, I'm gay? Wow, ok" part of fan-fiction since he really *would* be difficult in certain situations, like Heero's.

I'm so glad that I have a faithful few like you that appreciate the rough-but-hopeful fics that I try to write. I really strive for some realism and think it betters my writing over-all without being too dramatic.

Thank you so, so much for your comment. I always whole-heartedly encourage feedback for better or worse because it helps me with writing (anything). I'm very very glad that you're enjoying it and I have a clear end in mind, but it's just getting there :) Thanks.

I'm not sure I'd call myself a faithful reader given how long it took me to actually getting around to reading this, and I don't keep track of my f-list at all times. LJ is simply not my favourite media, I prefer forums and e-mail, where I'm less likely to miss things. All the same, I do check if often enough that it's unlikely that I'll altogether miss a multi-chapter fic at least, written by someone on that same f-list. I'm bound to notice it at some point. And if can be gratifying to read a lot of chapters in the same sitting like I did this time.

Not migrated to a new, flashier fando m, have you? :) I myself have mostly moved to Gundam 00 - but only beause GW is as small as it is these days. It will still, always, have a very special place in my heart.

you've read more than two of my fics, that (to me) is faithful :) Yeah (sigh) I understand you when it comes to f-lists and whatnot. I can barely keep up with so many people, it's crazy. I need a clone box like Calvin.

I've dabbled in bananafish, which is fun, but seeing as that's from the 80's...No, unfortunately I've been too busy to start to fall in love with a new fandom. These characters I know well, too, so that makes them more bendy...

Yeah, these kids and their new fandoms - back in my day it was Kenshin, Gundam Wing, and Fushigi Yuugi! That's all you had...uphill...in the snow...for forty miles.

I've heard good things about 00, but the first episodes didn't grab me at all. I was like, "What's happening? Is this important? Who are these people?" and things like that. I've grown so impatient ^^
