I like how it was Quatre for once who didn't want the kid instead of Trowa. Quatre's always the one everyone writes as LOVING kids. But dang, what a place to leave off! Open-ended much?

i know, i know. i liked the idea, too, but trailed off because i didn't know where else to go ^^;; heh heh. i could see how he'd like kids...as long as they aren't his own. he's a very busy guy...

ooh that was great! the dialogue was right on, i thought! and i was really intrigued by quatre not wanting kids and trying to figure out why. duo is such a good friend :)

yeah, i was getting fed up with "kids make everything better" fics. people are very complex and some don't want children (a lot of my friends), so i thought it'd be interesting to try, but unfortunately, i didnt get too far. :P

i definitely agree with you that kids don't automatically make things better - in fact, I think they mostly complicate situations and I liked that Quatre knew enough about himself (he ought to, after all!:D) to be serious about not wanting any AND to know that he wants time with Trowa because goodness! That's not going to happen with kids around!
it's okay if the story doesn't go farther! it was a lovely slice of quatre's life and his friendship with Duo and it was very satisfying :DDDDD
