To me 'Sharkfin Blues' is a perfect song and trumps 'Jezebel' narrowly with its slightly more melodic hook. Maybe Jezebel wins lyrically, but only because of the topicality of the lyrics, Sharkfin still has great lyrics.

'Girl from the North Country' is brilliant. I think Hard Rain won for me because of the amazing amazing lyrics. Dylan's description of the song being kind of first lines from 30 or 40 songs that all came out at once during the Cuban Missile crisis and the sense that the world might effectively end any minute makes it all the more compelling. 'North Country' is a beautiful little love song, but it just doesn't have the weight of Hard Rain for me.
